Nestled in the picturesque hills of Balingup, Golden Valley Tree Park spans 60 hectares, making it Western Australia's largest arboretum. Established over a century ago, the park features a diverse collection of over 3,000 trees from more than 500 species, including rare and unusual specimens. Visitors can enjoy six self-guided walk tracks, such as the Oak Grove Walk and Sequoia Short Walk, each offering unique perspectives of the park's collections. The Bibbulmun Track traverses the park, providing additional access. Amenities include picnic tables, wood barbecues, and toilets. Entry is free, with donations supporting volunteer efforts.
