Golden Grove Football Club, known as the Kookaburras, is a vibrant Australian Rules Football club based at Harpers Field, 39 One Tree Hill Road, Golden Grove. Established in 1995, the club offers a welcoming, family-friendly environment with over 600 junior members and 150 senior members. The modern clubrooms provide meals on Thursday and Saturday nights during the season. The club has achieved significant success, including back-to-back A Grade premierships in 2022 and 2023. In 2024, it was honored as the Good Sports South Australian Club of the Year for its commitment to a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
