The Goanna Walking Track is a 1.8-kilometre scenic stroll along the Murrumbidgee River in Darlington Point, starting at Fig Tree Park in the town's centre. The path leads west under the Darlington Point Bridge, passing the clay banks known as the "Bunyip hole." Along the way, visitors can enjoy picnic spots with shaded areas, red gum tables, and native gardens. Interpretive signage provides insights into local flora, fauna, and the area's rich Wiradjuri heritage, including the legend of the Bunyip, an Aboriginal mythological creature.
