Housed in the former Gloucester Shire Council Chambers, built in 1909, the Gloucester District Historical Society Museum showcases the rich heritage of the Gloucester region. Exhibits span from 1826, featuring military memorabilia, Aboriginal artifacts, geological specimens, and domestic items. A recreated 1940s classroom and Copeland Gaol display offer immersive historical experiences. The Archive Centre provides resources for family history research. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, the museum also offers guided tours for bus groups by arrangement.
