The Glenellen Solar Farm, located approximately 2 kilometers northeast of Jindera in New South Wales, spans 300 hectares and is set to feature around 394,000 bifacial solar panels. With a capacity of 260 MWdc (200 MWac), it is expected to generate about 500 GWh of renewable energy annually, enough to power approximately 76,400 homes and reduce carbon emissions by around 240,000 tonnes each year. The project is being developed by Global Power Generation Australia and is anticipated to commence operations in late 2025.
