
The Gisborne & Mount Macedon Districts Historical Society, housed in the beautifully restored 1858 Gisborne Court House, offers a comprehensive collection covering localities such as Gisborne, Macedon, and Mount Macedon. Open to the public each Wednesday from 10 am to 4 pm, the Society provides assistance with family and local history research. The Family and Local History Resource Centre may also be accessed by appointment. Visitors can explore the adjacent Pioneer Park, featuring the Gisborne Pioneer Wall, which commemorates early district pioneers.
