The Girgarre Tennis Club, located on School Road in Girgarre, VIC 3624, is an active member of the Kyabram District Tennis Association. The club fields two senior teams competing on Saturday afternoons and four junior teams in the Saturday morning competition. Coaching for juniors is provided by Sheree Starling. In 2018, the club introduced the Hot Shots program, designed to introduce children aged 3 to 8 years to the game of tennis. The club's facilities are part of the Girgarre Recreation Reserve, which also includes a football/cricket oval, a second cricket ground, four tennis courts, and a multi-purpose netball/tennis court. The reserve offers well-equipped social rooms available for hire, featuring banquet-style seating for over 100 people, an equipped kitchen, bar facilities, and a dance floor.
