The Gertrude Street Projection Festival (GSPF) is an annual, not-for-profit arts event that transforms Fitzroy's Gertrude Street into a vibrant canvas of light and creativity. Since 2008, the festival has illuminated the street with large-scale projections, interactive installations, and community-driven artworks, fostering a unique blend of art and public space. Held over ten nights each winter, GSPF features works from both emerging and established artists, alongside special projects, offsite activations, events, parties, talks, and screenings. The 2023 festival, themed 'Confluence,' took place from July 27 to August 6, activating multiple sites along Gertrude Street.
