Located at Monash University's Peninsula campus in Frankston, the George Jenkins Theatre is an intimate 426-seat venue ideal for plays, musicals, dance concerts, and presentations. Its versatile stage access and five dressing rooms facilitate seamless movement for large casts. The theatre features a large thrust stage with ample wing space, a crossover at the rear, and three winched scenery lines. Stage access is available from the side and via two vomitories under the seating bank. Basic lighting and sound are available for one or two-night events, while a full lighting design can be accommodated for extended theatre seasons. A fully licensed café connected to the foyer serves patrons pre-show, at interval, and post-show. The theatre is fully accessible via a lift in the foyer, and removable seats allow for up to four wheelchairs to be accommodated.
