The area serves as a gateway to the historic Geehi Huts walking track, leading to restored stone huts and offering picturesque views of the Snowy Mountains. The Swampy Plain River, known for its trout fishing, provides opportunities for swimming, tubing, and kayaking during the warmer months. Wildlife enthusiasts may encounter eastern grey kangaroos, wombats, and various bird species. Please note, there are no rubbish bins; visitors are encouraged to take their rubbish with them upon departure.
