Friends Of The Melton Botanic Garden

Nestled in Melton, Victoria, the Friends of the Melton Botanic Garden (FMBG) is a dedicated volunteer organization committed to developing and maintaining the Melton Botanic Garden. Established in 2003, FMBG has transformed a raw paddock into a thriving 27-hectare garden featuring indigenous, native, and exotic plants. The garden is open 24/7, offering visitors a serene environment to explore diverse plant collections. FMBG also operates a plant nursery at 21 Williams Street, open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the second and fourth Sundays of each month, where members enjoy discounts on plants. The organization hosts monthly meetings, field trips, and community events, fostering a strong connection between the community and the environment. Volunteers are always welcome to join in the garden's ongoing development and maintenance.
