Located within the 52-hectare Brownhill Creek Recreation Park, the Friends of Brownhill Creek Recreation Park is a dedicated volunteer group committed to preserving and enhancing the park's natural and cultural heritage. Their activities include pest plant control, native seed collection, revegetation efforts, and maintenance of the Wirraparinga Walking Trail. They also engage in heritage site restoration, conduct environmental surveys, and participate in community events like Clean Up Australia Day. Meetings are held monthly on the last Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon, except in December.
