Fort Glanville Conservation Park, established in 1880, stands as a testament to South Australia's colonial military history. This well-preserved fort features original 19th-century cannons, with three restored to working condition. Visitors can experience historical re-enactments, including military drills and cannon firing, conducted by the Fort Glanville Historical Association. The fort is open to the public from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm on the third Sunday of each month from September to May, and offers guided tours every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Entry fees vary, with standard tours priced at $10.00 per person. The park also features a visitor center with a souvenir shop and refreshment areas.
