Forster Surf Life Saving Club, established in 1925, is dedicated to ensuring the safety of beachgoers at Forster Main Beach. The club offers a range of programs, including Nippers for children, surf lifesaving education, and competitive surf sports. In March 2025, the club unveiled a new two-storey clubhouse featuring a function room, café, and training facilities, enhancing its capacity to serve the community. The club also hosts annual events like the Weekend of Surf carnival and the Dorsal Club to Club Ocean Swim, fostering community engagement and promoting water safety.
