Located at 8 Textile Crescent in Salisbury, Queensland, the Food Connect Shed serves as Brisbane's first community-owned food hub, fostering a fair, local, and resilient food system. This vibrant space offers facilities such as coworking areas, event venues, and a commercial kitchen, supporting farmers, food entrepreneurs, and community builders. The Shed also houses the Salisbury Mill, Brisbane's first community-scale flour mill, producing fresh, locally milled flour from regenerative grain producers. By connecting consumers directly with local farmers, the Food Connect Shed promotes sustainable and ethical food practices.
