Afloat Capri is a seasonal floating restaurant and bar on Melbourne's Yarra River, inspired by the Italian island of Capri. Open from September through June, it offers a sun-soaked, beach club atmosphere with striped umbrellas, terracotta tiles, and lemon trees. The menu features uncomplicated Italian classics like wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, Sicilian-style pizzette, pastas such as spaghetti vongole and gnocchi pomodoro, and an extensive selection of antipasti. The cocktail list includes citrus and aperitif-driven drinks, with a dedicated spritz section and over 30 different Negronis. Afloat Capri also hosts daily DJs and offers flexible spaces for events, accommodating up to 1,300 guests. The venue is currently closed for winter and is set to reopen in September 2025.
