Fleet Air Arm Museum

The Fleet Air Arm Museum, situated at HMAS Albatross in Nowra Hill, NSW, showcases Australia's rich naval aviation history. Its design mirrors an aircraft hangar, offering a spacious main exhibition hall and two art galleries. The museum's collection spans over 30 aircraft, from early 20th-century models to modern jets, complemented by technology displays, models, clothing, and personal memorabilia. Visitors can explore the stories of those who have served in the Fleet Air Arm through engaging audio-visual presentations. Admission is free, and the museum is accessible to all, including those with disabilities. Operating hours are Friday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, and during NSW school holidays, Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm. It remains closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day.
