Nestled between Collaroy Point and the northern base of Long Reef Point, Fishermans Beach is a 500-meter-long, sheltered cove ideal for fishing, snorkeling, and exploring rock pools. As part of the Long Reef Aquatic Reserve—the first of its kind in NSW—this beach offers a unique marine environment. Historically, it served as a small port for loading cattle for the Sydney market in the 19th century. Today, visitors can enjoy its tranquil setting, with facilities including a boat ramp, parking, and picnic areas. The beach is unpatrolled, so swimming is not recommended.
