Established in 1916, 1st Gordon Scout Group offers engaging youth development activities for individuals aged 11 to 15. Meeting every Friday from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at their hall in Cawarra Place, Gordon, the group provides a diverse program that includes outdoor adventures, leadership training, and community service projects. Scouting fosters physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual growth, preparing young people to be responsible citizens. Families are encouraged to participate, and the group values the diversity of its members. Prospective members can attend 2-3 meetings to experience Scouting before committing to membership.
