Established in 1950, Fairy Meadow Surf Lifesaving Club has been a cornerstone of the local community for over seven decades. Celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, the club continues to uphold its mission of protecting lives and fostering community spirit. The club offers programs for all ages, including the Nippers program for children aged 5-15, focusing on surf safety and confidence-building. Adults can join patrol teams, receiving training in CPR, First Aid, and rescue techniques. The club also provides top-tier education and training, utilizing advanced equipment and expert instructors. Additionally, the club's function room, with panoramic views, is available for events up to 140 people. In 2025, the club received a grant to install a 13.2kW solar system with battery storage, enhancing its sustainability efforts.
