Fairy Meadow Beach, located three kilometers north of Wollongong's city center, offers stunning views southward to Wollongong, including distant vistas of two lighthouses and the harbor. This beach is a favored spot for students due to its proximity to university accommodations and for families staying at the nearby Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort. Patrol services are available during the New South Wales school holidays, from September through April. The area south of the playground is designated as an off-lead dog beach, accommodating pet owners.
