Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operations, situated 350 km west of Sydney in New South Wales, is a world-class open-pit gold mine. Since its acquisition in 2015, it has achieved record annual gold production, producing 312,644 ounces in FY24. The underground mine commenced commercial production in April 2024, with plans to ramp up to 2 million tonnes in FY25. In December 2024, the operation received approval to extend open-pit mining by 10 years, ensuring continued economic benefits to the region. Blasting occurs daily on-site between 11 am and 3 pm.
