The Essendonians Function Space, located within the NEC Hangar at 32 Watson Drive, Melbourne Airport, offers a versatile venue for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale conferences. With a capacity of up to 300 standing or 200 seated guests, the space features floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the expansive NEC Hangar facility and its two ovals. This unique setting allows attendees to observe team training sessions and events in a dynamic environment. The adaptable room layout can be configured to suit various event types, including conferences, meetings, workshops, and cocktail parties. On-site amenities include Wi-Fi, a projector, whiteboard, PA system, air conditioning, and natural light. Free on-site parking is available, accommodating up to 250 vehicles. The venue also offers in-house catering services, with external catering not permitted. Alcohol is available on-site, with an alcohol license until 11:00 pm, with extensions available.
