The Boydtown Church Ruins, located on Boydtown Park Road in Boydtown, NSW, are the remnants of an unfinished Anglican church built in the 1840s by Scottish entrepreneur Benjamin Boyd. Boyd established Boydtown to support his whaling and shipping ventures, but financial difficulties led to the town's abandonment in the mid-1840s, leaving the church incomplete. The structure was never consecrated and suffered further damage when its roof was destroyed in a bushfire in 1926. Today, the ruins stand as a testament to Boyd's ambitious plans and the area's rich history.
