Enoggera Dam, completed in 1866, is Brisbane's oldest reservoir and one of Australia's earliest major dams. Located in The Gap, it features a 380-meter-long dam wall and a catchment area of 33 square kilometers. The dam holds a full supply volume of 4,262 million liters. While no longer used for regular water supply, it serves as a recreational destination, offering walking trails and a designated swimming area accessible via the Walkabout Creek Visitor Centre. The dam is un-gated, allowing water to flow over the spillway when at full capacity.
