Nestled at the corner of Ellenborough and Roderick Streets in Ipswich, Ellen and Rod Café offers a warm, dog-friendly atmosphere where patrons can enjoy Five Senses Coffee, available by the cup or bag. The menu features seasonal dishes like eggs Benedict with house-made hollandaise and a loaded scramble. Breakfast options include shakshuka, breakfast burgers, avocado on toast, waffles, and savoury mince, served from 6:30 am to 11 am on weekdays and until 11:45 am on weekends. Lunch, available on weekdays from 11 am to 1:45 pm, offers burgers, sandwiches, Thai beef or chicken salad, fresh daily salads, and toasties on Turkish bread. House-made pastries, including freshly baked chocolate and almond croissants, are available until sold out. Cold-pressed juices, cold brew, and lemon iced tea are also prepared in-house.
