Elder Hall, established in 1900, is a distinguished concert venue located within the University of Adelaide's North Terrace campus. Designed in the Florentine Gothic style, it features a hammer-beam roof inspired by London's Middle Temple. The hall boasts a capacity of 660 seats and is renowned for its exceptional acoustics, highlighted by a Casavant Frères organ installed in 1979. As the primary performance space for the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Elder Hall hosts a variety of events, including the Lunchtime Concert Series and Evening Concert Series. Its central location places it near Adelaide's cultural landmarks, such as the Art Gallery, South Australian Museum, and State Library.
