Nestled opposite the Badu Mangroves, the Education Centre Shade Sail offers a versatile outdoor space ideal for gatherings of up to 200 people. This expansive green area is conveniently located near parking and restroom facilities, making it suitable for school excursions and corporate events. Please note, this is a bare site hire only; commercial catering, amusement devices, and commercial marquees are not permitted. BYO picnic furniture is allowed, and while barbeques are shared facilities within the park, they cannot be hired for exclusive use. During Total Fire Bans, only park-installed electric BBQs may be used. Vehicle access is available for delivery and pick-up purposes, provided vehicles are escorted and supervised by a Parklands Officer.
