Edgeworth Memorial Neighbourhood Centre (EMNC) is a not-for-profit community service in Northwest Lake Macquarie, NSW, dedicated to supporting local residents, particularly young people and families. The centre offers a range of programs, including playgroups, community pantry services, craft groups, a community garden, yoga sessions, and volunteer opportunities. Youth services encompass recreational activities, case management, counselling, education and skills programs, peer support, mentoring, and school holiday activities. Community spaces are available for hire, featuring a large hall accommodating approximately 100 people. EMNC is primarily funded by the Department of Communities and Justice and The Office of Responsible Gambling NSW, with additional support from community donations, sponsorships, and grants. The team comprises six employees and about 20 volunteers, all committed to enhancing support, connection, and activity within the local community.
