Echo Point Picnic Area

Nestled within Morton National Park, Echo Point Picnic Area offers a serene retreat for nature enthusiasts. The area features a picnic shelter, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. From here, the Lovers walking track extends 750 meters through open forest, leading to Bonnie View lookout, renowned for its scenic vistas. The track is adorned with wildflowers like yellow banksia and purple geebungs in spring and provides excellent birdwatching opportunities year-round, with gang-gang cockatoos frequently spotted. For a more secluded experience, the Mount Carnarvon walking track offers a 0.7 km return journey to a hilltop lookout, providing additional panoramic views of the park. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking and birdwatching in the area.
