Eastern Lions Kart Club

Established in 1961, the Eastern Lions Kart Club (ELKC) is a vibrant community of approximately 160 karting enthusiasts and their families, primarily from Melbourne's northern and northeastern suburbs. In 1989, the club relocated to a 72-acre site near Seymour, Victoria, to accommodate its growing needs. The Hume International Raceway, situated at 1005 Seymour-Tooborac Road, Hilldene, features a 1,064-meter track suitable for sprint kart racing. The club offers various membership options, including family, senior, junior family, vintage, and social categories, each with specific fees. Members enjoy access to the racing complex most days between 9 am and 5 pm, with certain days designated as noise-free due to council regulations. ELKC is affiliated with the Australian Karting Association, ensuring a safe and organized environment for karting enthusiasts of all ages.
