Dunningham Reserve

Dunningham Reserve, situated on Coogee Beach's northern headland, offers breathtaking ocean vistas, making it a favored spot for both locals and visitors. The reserve features expansive grassy areas, picnic shelters, and native flora, creating a serene environment for relaxation and recreation. As part of the Eastern Beaches Coastal Walkway, it seamlessly connects Coogee to Clovelly and Bondi Beach to the north, and Maroubra to the south, attracting walkers and joggers alike. A notable landmark within the reserve is the restored portico, a memorial to the Giles Gym and Baths complex, which was demolished in 2000. This site also honors the victims of the 2002 Bali bombings, with a bronze sculpture symbolizing unity and remembrance.
