Nestled in East Dubbo, the Dubbo Regional Botanic Garden offers a sensory journey through four unique garden spaces. The Shoyoen Japanese Garden, a gift from Dubbo's sister city Minokamo, features authentic architecture and tranquil landscapes. The Biodiversity Garden showcases native plant communities, while the Sensory Garden engages all five senses with its diverse flora and interactive elements. Oasis Valley exhibits dry rainforest species, illustrating the evolution of local bushland from Gondwanaland's cool forests. An adventure playground with over 40 play elements caters to all ages and abilities. The gardens are open Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, weekends from 9:30 am to 5 pm, and closed on Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Good Friday.
