
Drummond North is a picturesque rural locality in Victoria's Shire of Hepburn, approximately 100 kilometers northwest of Melbourne. Renowned for its wine-growing and livestock farming, the area is traversed by Back Creek, a tributary of the Coliban River, which contributes to its undulating terrain. The region is abundant with native wildlife, including a significant population of kangaroos. Historically, Drummond North was served by a post office from 1885 until its closure in 1956. As of the 2016 census, the population was 187 residents.
