DrummerQueens, located at 7/33 Maddox St, Alexandria, NSW 2015, is a dynamic live music experience that showcases the exceptional talents of an all-female percussion ensemble. Created and composed by Joe Accaria, with creative direction by Nigel Turner-Carroll and choreography by Peta Anderson, the show delivers an electrifying performance that captivates audiences with its powerful rhythms and stunning staging. The ensemble features a diverse range of percussion instruments, including snare drums, large temple drums, cajón, full drum sets, and electronic drums, complemented by triangles, gongs, and other percussion instruments. The performers' costumes, inspired by a Mad Max aesthetic, are matched by a dynamic light show, enhancing the overall spectacle. DrummerQueens has toured extensively across Australia, including seasons at the Sydney Lyric Theatre, Comedy Theatre Melbourne, and the Lyric Theatre at Brisbane's QPAC.
