Dingabledinga, located in the southern Mount Lofty Ranges of South Australia, is a picturesque locality situated southeast of McLaren Vale and south of Adelaide. Established in the 1930s by the Unemployment Relief Council, it was originally settled by seventeen families. The name "Dingabledinga" is believed to be derived from an Aboriginal term meaning "water everywhere." The area is characterized by its fertile land, making it suitable for fruit orchards, and is home to the Hope Forest-Dingabledinga Memorial Hall, which honors those who served in Australia's armed forces.
