Diamond head beach

Diamond Head Beach, located at the northern tip of the Barrington Coast, offers a pristine stretch of white sand bordered by iconic rock formations. The area is home to a resident population of eastern grey kangaroos, often seen traversing the beach or relaxing under the coastal vegetation. Visitors can access the Diamond Head Loop Track directly from the beach, a 4.8 km trail that winds through the rocky headland to Kylies Beach, providing panoramic views of the coastline, mountains, and surrounding forests. For those with 4WD vehicles, the beach is accessible from both the campsite to the south and Dunbogan to the north; a NSW National Parks Pass is required for beach driving. The Barrington Coast is renowned for its diverse national parks, state forests, and conservation areas, offering a rich tapestry of natural beauty and outdoor activities.
