Nestled between the Mersey Bluff headland and the mouth of the Mersey River, the Devonport Surf Life Saving Club has been a cornerstone of the local community since 1927. The club offers a range of surf sports, including surf boats, ski paddling, board paddling, and beach events, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. Its function room, located on the first level of the clubhouse, boasts sweeping views from the lounge, bar, and balcony, making it an ideal venue for various events. The clubroom reflects its rich history, featuring original local photographs dating from the late 1880s to the present day. The building was completed in March 2011 and features clean lines and a high timber ceiling, a generous bar, and lounge area.
