Darebin Ethnic Communities Council

The Darebin Ethnic Communities Council (DECC) serves as the peak body for ethnic communities within the Darebin municipality in Victoria. Established nearly three decades ago, DECC advocates for and represents the interests of Darebin's culturally and linguistically diverse residents to all levels of government. The organization is committed to promoting multiculturalism and social inclusion across all facets of civic life. DECC also fosters intercultural dialogue and collaboration, viewing these as strengths of a multicultural democracy that lead to respect and the achievement of human rights for all.
