The name "Cuckoo Habibi" derives from Cairo, Egypt, where Chef Moe originates. "Cuckoo" means small bird, and "Habibi" means my beloved, a pet name Moe uses for his son. The logo features an old black and white picture of Moe at nearly three years old, wearing a cardigan with a bird and chef's hat knitted on the side. Moe's passion for food began early, learning his mother's cooking secrets and later receiving training from mentor chefs with over 30 years of experience, earning a diploma as a chef in Cairo. His experience expanded further as he worked in various governmental departments such as embassies, The Sheraton, The Diplomatic Club, and à la carte restaurants in Egypt and Australia.
