Located on Young Road in Cowra, the Cowra Regional Livestock Selling Centre has been a cornerstone of the local agricultural community for over six decades. Operated by Cowra Council, it hosts weekly sales every Wednesday at 11:30 am, attracting both local and export buyers bidding for high-quality lambs and sheep. The facility offers a stress-free environment for livestock, featuring clean and safe yards, loading ramps, 24-hour surveillance, night lighting, disability access, and a recently upgraded dual B-double truck wash. An innovative irrigation system recycles water from the truck wash facilities, irrigating holding paddocks. Canteen facilities are available on sale days. The saleyards are MSA licensed and quality assurance certified, with six selling agents based in Cowra trading prime fat lambs and sheep.
