The club's annual Cootamundra Cup Meeting, held on the Sunday of the long weekend in October, is a highlight, featuring thoroughbred racing, Fashions on the Field, and TAB and bookmaker facilities. The racecourse, located on Racecourse Road, offers a scenic setting with shade trees and a grandstand dating back to the 1920s. Facilities include a resident trainer's cottage, stabling, a sand training course, 108 day stalls, jockeys' rooms, steward's office, treasurer's office, covered betting ring, and bar facilities.
