Established in 1895, the Cootamundra Country Club is the oldest golf club in country New South Wales. The club offers facilities for golf, bowls, croquet, and social activities. Golfers can enjoy a challenging, hilly course with Kikuyu fairways, superb bent greens, and scenic views of the local landscape. Wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies, birdlife, and echidnas are present throughout the course. The club also boasts a great bistro, entertainment, and gaming machines. Strong sporting competitions for golfers (women and men), vet golfers, lawn bowls, and croquet areas are on offer weekly. The Country Club also hosts many annual golf and bowls tournaments during the year.
