Coopers Mill

Price on enquiry
Coopers Mill, constructed between 1843 and 1860, stands as the first wind-powered flour mill in the district and the only one still in existence. Located on Culleenup Island in the Murray River Delta, it was built by Joseph Cooper and his sons, James and Thomas. The mill is accessible exclusively by boat, reflecting the historical significance of water transport in early Western Australia. Visitors can enjoy picnic areas, a playground, and toilet facilities on the island. The site is listed on the State Register of Heritage Places.
