Cook Park, established in 1873, is a 4.5-hectare heritage-listed park in the heart of Orange, New South Wales. Designed in a traditional Victorian style, it features straight paths, rows of trees, and a central bandstand. The park showcases seasonal displays, including vibrant roses in summer, tulips and daffodils in spring, and a renowned begonia collection in the Blowes Conservatory from February to April. Visitors can enjoy duck ponds, an aviary with native birdlife, and the Cook Park Guildry, located in the historic Bastick Cottage, offering handcrafted goods and baked treats. The park is open daily and is a short 10-minute walk west of the Orange CBD via Summer or Kite Streets.
