Nestled just a block from Coogee Beach, the Coogee East Ward Senior Citizens Centre offers a versatile space for community events. The hall features timber floors, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, oven, and Zip hot water system, and is furnished with five large tables, six small tables, and 62 chairs. Additional amenities include heating, ceiling fans, and accessible toilets. Ideal for dance or yoga classes, forums, meetings, birthday parties, and workshops, the venue accommodates up to 60 people. Its proximity to public transport and on-street parking enhances accessibility. Notably, the hall underwent a $1.2 million upgrade in 2015, introducing a new roof, kitchen facilities, and disability access ramp, all while incorporating environmentally sustainable features.
