Connected Beginnings Taree, located at 38 Albert Street, Taree, NSW 2430, is a community-led initiative supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Established in 2019, it is part of a nationwide program aiming to enhance early childhood education and health services for Indigenous communities. The program focuses on improving access to existing early childhood, maternal, and child health services, ensuring children are safe, healthy, and ready to thrive at school by the age of 5. The Taree site is operated by the NSW Department of Education in partnership with Taree Public School.
