The Hobsons Bay Visitor Information Centre is also located here, providing insights into the area's maritime heritage. Nearby, Nelson Place boasts a variety of shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, enhancing the reserve's appeal. A craft market is held on the third Sunday of every month.
