It serves as the home of the Coburg Cycling Club, one of Australia's oldest cycling clubs, founded in 1896. The venue hosts a variety of events, including concerts, food festivals, outdoor cinema screenings, and charity fundraisers, reflecting the community's diverse cultural heritage. The velodrome's unique convex architecture provides an excellent setting for these events.
