Established in 1946, the Coal Point Progress Association (CPPA) is a dedicated community group committed to enhancing the natural environment and fostering social welfare in the Coal Point area. In 1951, the community purchased land and built Progress Hall, a cherished venue for local gatherings and events. The CPPA's objectives include protecting and regenerating indigenous flora and fauna, advancing community spirit, and promoting sustainability through education and engagement. Volunteers are always welcome to assist with activities such as delivering the local newsletter, participating in landcare projects, and maintaining Progress Hall.
